We finished the teaser and premiered it to about 250 people at the Kelly Strayhorn theater last night (Aug. 26th). The 48 Hour Film Project and ArtDimensions Pittsburgh were there. Lots of great short films and art. You really should have been there.

We are also looking for a band to play our first fundraising event, tentatively planned for the end of September. If you or anyone you know is in a band and interested in playing, get in touch with us.

And we’re holding auditions for the last few roles soon. Get us your resume and headshot. Or your facebook page. Or a grainy webcam pic and an email. We want you involved. But remember, we have no money, and so we cannot promise any to you. Yeah. We know. It’s a bummer.
So. Day one of filming is officially over. The Hungry teaser is all but finished! All we have to do is the video edit. And the sound edit. And write and record the soundtrack. So really, we’re not even close. But we will be. I swear. Look for it around the end of the month.
It is official. Ragged Claw Productions now has its own website. We wish we had more compelling news, or at least some sparklers or something to jazz it up a little, but Mick says ‘you can’t always get what you want’, and he’s probably right.
Anyway, let me make you aware of the situation.
This is the start of an experiment. We want to see if we can produce a film locally, using all local talent and resources, and have that film be both totally effin’ sweet and commercially viable. We (‘we’ = everybody along for this ride) believe we can.
Our first production is Hungry. It’s a black comedy about – well, you can click the tab to your left. We’ll be raising money and looking for those last few cast and crew members soon enough.
